ist eine in Berlin lebende Künstlerin, Forscherin und Kuratorin aus Sydney, Australien. Ihre Praxis erstreckt sich auf die Bereiche Sound und Performance sowie Installation und Videokunst. Angetrieben von ihrer Forschung in der Medienarchäologie, ist sie fasziniert von den vergangenen Leben, kulturellen Bedeutungen und lebendigen Wirkungsmächten alter und neuer Technologien.

ist eine kanadische Klangkünstlerin, die derzeit in Berlin lebt und in den Bereichen Komposition, Performance und Klanginstallation arbeitet. Mit einem konzeptionellen Ansatz erzeugt sie subtile und unvollkommene Klänge durch haptische Gesten und scheinbar alltägliche Materialien, um strukturell nuancierte Werke zu schaffen, die das Ohr kontinuierlich neu justieren.

SUM (Studio of Unconscious Music), ein experimentelles Projekt, das ursprünglich aus Sibirien stammt, 2007 gegründet wurde und viele verschiedene Inkarnationen in Kemerovo und St. Petersburg durchlief, hat 2018 in Berlin eine neue Besetzung bekommen. Sibirische Industrial-Songs treffen auf Berliner improvisierte Musik. SUM arbeitet in Genres wie Jazz-Punk, Industrial-Techno, Elektro-Akustik, Synth-Pop etc. und mischt dies mit einer lyrischen Komponente - Überbleibsel der Liedform: Gesänge, Deklamationen, endlose Wiederholungen. Gleichzeitig bleibt die Musik von SUM - sei es gnostischer Rave oder konvulsiver roher Industrial - durchaus tanzbar.

Lottie Sebes is a Berlin-based Australian sound artist, researcher and curator who works with installation, performance, sound and video. Making connections between old and new technologies, she seeks to illuminate and reimagine her tools’ genealogies and socio-cultural implications.

crys cole is a Canadian sound artist based in Berlin. She works in composition,

performance and sound sculpture / installation. Applying conceptual approaches

that utilize haptic gestures and seemingly mundane materials, she creates subtle,

texturally nuanced works that continuously retune the ear.

SUM (Studio of Unconscious Music), an experimental project originally from Siberia, formed in 2007 and including many different incarnations in Kemerovo and St. Petersburg, has acquired a new line-up in Berlin in 2018. Siberian industrial songs meet Berlin improvised music. SUM works in genres like jazz-punk, industrial techno, electro-acoustic, synth-pop, etc. mixing this with a lyrical component—remnants of the song form: chants, declamations, endless repetitions. At the same time, SUM music—be it gnostic rave or convulsive raw industrial—remains quite suitable for dancing.
