“If I were to place you entirely into a poem” is a durational performance linking movement and text with video, sound, and light to accompany a digital, interactive poetry book. The poems we share here reflect the challenge of fitting in—be it in society, in our personal relationships, or even in relation to ourselves. A waterfall flows down a mountainside, not minding the rocks beneath it, adapting to the ground without losing its strength. If only queer existence were this harmonious. Yet, obstacles also carve a path of unexpected, unruly beauty. This is the path we are chasing in our improvised performance. We invite you to join us here, between the virtual and the real, between our bodies and yours, between what we call you and what you call us.
