Britt Angus

Brittany is a Canadian contemporary dance artist based in Berlin, Germany. She holds her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Simon Fraser University's School for the Contemporary Arts. Brittany has performed with Dezza Dance Co., the response. (The Response Dance Society), Coastal City Ballet and in works by Judith Garay (Martha Graham Company), Rob Kitsos, Heather Myers (NDT), David Raymond (Kidd Pivot), Lesley Telford (NDT) and Tiffany Tregarthen (Kidd Pivot). After receiving a scholarship from Simon Fraser University, Brittany completed her BFA through Air Berlin Alexanderplatz, a research-focused, artist-run initiative. This past year in Europe Brittany has studied repertoire by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Emanuel Gat, Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Hofesh Shechter, Crystal Pite and Sasha Waltz. In Berlin, Brittany has performed and interpreted choreography by Gosia Gajdemska, Satoshi Kudo and Helder Seabra. She has recently participated in Luna Park's International Exchange Program for young dancers and choreographers in Berlin and Athens. In Athens 2018 Brittany performed her choreographic work 'Tangerine' and appeared in 'Βουνά οι επιθυμίες' (Mountains of Desire) by Kosmas Kosmopoulos.           homepage: www.brittanyangus.ca                                     

 

Bláthín Eckhardt 

begann das Tanzen und Eiskunstlaufen zu lernen, kurz nachdem sie stehen konnte. Nach Abschluss der RAD Ballett Prüfungen und dem Abitur in Bayern, erhielt sie ihr Diplom in Tanz und Tanzpädagogik in Dublin. Zeitgleich war sie Mitglied der Dublin Youth Dance Company, arbeitete mit Toni Bravo (TX), und zeigte im letzten Jahr ihres Studiums ein co-choreographiertes Duett auf verschiedenen Tanzfestivals in Irland. Anfang 2018 kam sie nach Berlin und arbeitet seitdem mit Studenten der dBS Filmschule des Funkhauses für die tänzerische Untermalung in Kurzfilmen, Musikvideos und in der Werbung. In Berlin ist sie als freischaffende Tänzerin, Tanzpädagogin und Musikerin tätig.
