Sina Seiler

"Elephant" is an experimental performance film based on the poem of the same name by Sina Seiler. The poetry film visualizes inner spaces that the poem metaphorically expresses with words: a house as a symbol of the self and the different rooms as moods of the unconscious , feelings and thoughts.

Sina Seiler 

completed her film and media studies at the Universities of Karlsruhe (KIT), Eberhardt-Karls-Universität Tübingen and DAMS (Drama, Arts and Music Studies) Bologna, Italy. She worked for several years at the ZKM, Center for Art and Media Technology, Karlsruhe in the interactive media museum. With the poetry film “Elephant” (2013) she was represented at many international literature and film festivals, as well as the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival 2014. In the 2017/18 season she took part in the project “Gala Global” directed by the theater collective Turbo Pascal at the Deutsches Theater Berlin. She is currently developing the script for her debut feature-length film and is looking for financing with her producer.


Soraya Schulthess

is a professional ballet dancer, she attended the Berlin Ballet School before completing her training at the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg (Russia). She then completed her training as a master student at the Bolshoi Academy in Moscow. In 2010 she returned to Berlin to work at the Deutsche Oper and in 2013 she was given the opportunity to dance with the Eifman Ballet Company in St. Petersburg in the Chor de Ballet ensemble and to perform as a demi-soloist.
