BRAIN PITCH
DieOrdnungDerDinge
Musiktheater
The Mozart effect for babies is a thing of the past - give us 60 minutes and we will optimize your brain!
In search of reliably accessible high performance of the brain, the ensemble for current music theater DieOrdnungDerDinge is dealing with the Internet boom of recent years in a staged concert, which has improved with the help of sonic brain massages, bat frequencies or womb sounds human brain functions and captivates millions. DieOrdnungDerDinge takes up these (pseudo-)scientific methods of musical self-optimization and uses them to develop a concert program that is as humorous as it is effective.
With “Brain Pitch”, DieOrdnungDerDinge presents an evening that is typical of the ensemble’s way of working and lies on the borderline between scientific seriousness and humorous fiction. Starting from an expanded concept of music, the ensemble composes visual and acoustic aspects in equal measure. The boundary between musical and scenic form is fluid. During the lockdown period, the ensemble developed new digital formats that made contemporary music more accessible to a wider audience. Now they're turning the tables and translating the customs of the Internet for a stage evening: live and in color.
