The art of improvision, or improvisation, is considerably been set aside in western music since over 200 years. Musicians such as Daniel Barenboim recently stated in an interview that he much regrets this loss of capacity among classical musicians. Samson Marzbani has ever developed his musical work around improvision. He has worked as solo pianist, as well as with numerous singers and musicians in recordings along with stage performances in France, England, Australia, and China.
